If my goal is to make $5000.00 in one year.  (It is now starting to feel scary). Well lets try and save $2000.00 in 12 months.  I am also open for suggestions on how to do this, I am also willing to give just about anything a try in reason of course.

Please find my various posts about different ways to make money as well. If you need extra money (and who doesn't?) and have some spare time.  Yes, what is spare time you ask?  Maybe you can find a post here that will help you make a little extra income each month! I will be adding to the blogs often, so please keep checking back for new ideas!.

101 ways to save money - Insurance

You will not believe how much money you could save consolidate your insurance or just ringing around and getting quotes.  I saved hundreds this way.  Also don't be afraid to ask your exisiting insurance company for a better deal.  Or they can say is NO, and if they do.  It might be time to change.

1) Consolate insurance.  Using I select or other online compare software.  Will ensure that I am not overpaying for insurance and calling insurance companies when my insurance is up for renewal and seeing if  I can get a better deal.  I saved a $100.00 a year on just one insurance company.  They gave me a loyalty discount on my car insurance.  Every little bit of money adds up to that $2000.00 savings.  Each month I will come back and let you know how I saved the money and on what.   I will be definately doing the insurance valuations as they come up for renewal.  Otherwise you pay for cancellation fees etc.  Then I won't be saving a thing.  Unfortunately with insurance you need to make sure that compare apples with apples and there is so much fine print, with the QLD floods unfortunately policies have increased and most people didn't read there contracts and therefore were not covered.  A lot of people unfortunately learned the hard way.
